This is a place where the pack goes to hunt, sometimes they branch off but mostly they just stay here. This is also the land they own. So trespassers are not welcomed. You'll find lots of wolves running around here, pups and old ones.

She scented the air, making sure her pray hadn't moved and that no unwanted scents wandered in to scare it. Up front to the left she could scent one of her kind, one of her pack mates ready to kill the rabbit once she flushed it out. Behind her was her mentor, adopted big brother and teacher. He was monitoring her tracking skills. And seeing how well she could track and follow they pray.
Twice now the lead lost the rabbit, but each time she had been able to find it. Poor thing, must be ready ti keel over with a heart attack If she could grin she would, but she couldn't her jaw wasn't built for that. okay kitten time to flush the poor thing out and let the others do their work She hunched up tensing her hind legs and her tail flicking slightly. Then she let loose and crashed into the bush sending the rabbit scattering out and toward the others in a mad panic. Hopefully this time they catch the rabbit and they could eat she was getting hungry. |

Shane had taken some of the cubs out hunting which would explain why nobody hasn't caught anything yet. Though the good news was that Kitten was turning out to be a excellent tracker. She had been able to pick back up the trail whenever the rabbits had gotten away. Kitten had just jumped into the bushes causing the rabbits to flee right into the other cubs who this time actually ended up catching the rabbits.
Shane went over to Kitten and gave what amounted to a smile for a wolf. Kitten had became a little sister to him after the unfortunate event that had befell her family. He had decided to take it upon himself to look after her like a big brother and teach her what he knew. Of course at the time he was still a pup himself though a pretty old pup compared to her when that event had happen. Now he was a young wolf and was getting bigger jobs and more responsibility. He gestured towards kitten to follow him towards the other cubs so they can eat. It had taken them a while to catch that food after all and he was feeling hungry himself.

Once they reach the small group she nudged one pup out of the way picked up a full untouched rabbit and placed it in front of Shane then sat back and waited. The other pups stopped eating, eyeing her then they followed suite all sitting with her leaving a pile of rabbits for him to pick from. As their "leader" he got the first pick of the best kill. They all sat around waiting for him to pick one and once he did they all picked up the remaining kills and set about to eating. |

Shane smiled as he saw what Kitten had done and shown the younger pups how things were suppose to be done. Though he had to admit that he was still not use to this type of treatment. He had just started taking out young pups to show them how to hunt a few years ago. Even after those years he still wasn't use to being the one who was able to pick out the best kill first to eat. He figure it will grow on him the longer he did this. He looked over the choices before going with the one that Kitten had brought him. Since that was the biggest rabbit and he was pretty hungry. He bent down and took the rabbit in his mouth and carried it away. Now was the decision if he should just eat it raw or make a fire. Considering that there really wasn't any good fire wood around he decided to eat it raw.
He had to admit that the pups were getting a lot better during their hunts especially since their first time. Though considering his first time he was pretty sure that everyone made a lot of the same mistakes. Though he was glad that he wasn't one of the few that ended up in a cactus patch during his first hunt. One of his friends on the other hand wasn't so lucky. Dude had to pull out four quills from his backside. He chuckled at the memory as he started to eat his meal wondering if his "little sister" would eat beside him. [/font][/font] [/font][/p] |

My Speach wagging her tail she padded over to Shane, leaving the others to enjoy their meals. she dropped her kill down beside Shane then rubbed her head long his side before plopping down and eating her meal raw just like him. If she was honest she liked eating her kills fresh from a hunt, it always tasted better cooked or not. with her tail flipping back and forth she enjoyed her meal, picking it clean to the bone then sat up on her hind legs and set about cleaning Shane's face. putting one paw on the top of his head to keep him sill. After she had finished cleaning him of the blood she laid back down and curled up against him tucking her head against his side.
Kittens favorite way to always change back from wolf to human was by napping, she didn't mind the changing back when she was awake, she just preferred to change back well she was sleeping. less consideration was used that way. |

Shane had allowed Kitten to clean him up though he wished she didn't put her paw on his face. He wouldn't have moved anyway though he was fine with it just a little annoyed. He watched as she snuggled up beside him and fall asleep reverting back to her human form during the process. Kitten was growing up to be a fine young girl though he and the others notice that her troubled past had left her weaken. Her health and stamina were above the humans and those hunters but now where near were it suppose to be at for a normal young pup. Shane hoped that it would be a fixable issue with the right amount of medicines cause he knew that Kitten might run into a situation that she would need to stay on the move for a long time.
Shane had been lost in his thoughts for about ten minutes when he started noticing the other young pups getting a bit sleepy. He transformed back into his human form and picked up Kitten before turning to the other pups. "Come on let's head back home. I can tell that some of you are about to fall asleep." He said as he saw that some pups tried to look alert but were failing. Shane was glad that no one else was on their land cause if a normal human came upon the scene of a naked man carrying a naked girl then questions would be asked. Which would be pretty hard to talk out of in itself but count the few pups that also transformed back who looked to be only eleven or twelve and you had something that couldn't possibly be talked out of without it looking really bad.

My Speach The other pups all changed back to their human form, walking bare foot through the cool desert following Shane and the sleeping Kitten back to their den. Well it was called a Den but it didn't look like a den. |

Shane brought everyone back to the "Den" though it was everything but a regular den. This place was the location of the majority of werewolves were located at. Basically it had all the comforts of a regular home and then some with plenty of rooms for people to stay in. It was pretty much built like a very expensive apartment complex. He watch the pups return to there family before deciding to take Kitten home and put her to bed. He set her down on her bed gently making sure not to wake her. He was pretty sure that she would probably be out for the rest of the night.
Though he was still plenty awake and considered his options on what he could do. ~Hmm I guess I could visit Dawn and see how things are going for her. I know that those hunters are probably getting on her nerves. Still don't understand why she didn't just ask the elders help with the problem dealing with the increasing rouge ghouls and vampires. If those rouges keep things up they'll blow the cover over the fact that vampires and ghouls are real. It wouldn't take that much time for people to figure out if vampires and ghouls are real then werewolves probably are too. That would be really bad for us....well depends on the humans.~ He was thinking over the fact about a certain movie that made werewolves laugh out loud and think that this was one big romantic comedy that was trying to be serious. |
